Edwin first started at CGA as a teacher in 2012. He has taught many classes and many subjects, but his specialty is teaching English. He joined the Leadership Team in 2017 as the interim Headteacher and was promoted to full Headteacher in 2018. Edwin has also served as the Sports Manager for many years and especially enjoys coaching football (soccer).

Duncan joined CGA in 2018 as the Deputy Headteacher. He also teaches Kiswahili and Science. Before joining CGA, Duncan taught in a private school in Naivasha, Nakuru county; about 300 kms away from Mbita. He is married and blessed with two young children.

Daina Odoyo was one of the original founding members of CGA. In 1997 when the school was starting, Daina left a good job to help with the pioneering effort of creating a school for orphans in Mbita. She was on the original planning committee and also became the first Nursery class  teacher (Pre-school). Today she is the Head Mistress for the Nursery and Pre-Primary section of CGA. Every young child who has entered CGA in the Nursery class has passed through her hands. Daina’s husband, Peter Odoyo, passed away from cancer in 2012 which left Daina as a widow caring for her 4 children; Beatrice, Benjamin, Perpetua and Miracle. Diana provides a motherly influence and cares for each and every child. Her patience and love make the new students (as young as 4 years old) feel comfortable and welcomed so that they learn to love coming to school.
